Introduction
Hello, my name is Zach (ZenZach#0007). I've been playing Dragon Nest since 2016 and Duck since 2019. I play a variety of different classes and you can see my other guides for Lunar Knight and Ice Witch in the Class Guide Archive.
Pyromancer is a specialization of the Sorceress class that has been re-reworked to shift its play style to a mid-ranged burst class with decent consistent damage. Pyro revolves around building Fever stacks with –[Fireball], [Inferno], [Hotrod], [Magma Ball] and [Ignite] to enable [Summon Meteor], while using other skills as filler to maintain her damage.
Skills
Sorceress
[Fire Burst (CM3)]: CM3 enables the blood moon jade version of [Hotrod] and increases damage and movement speed. [Applies Burn Effect 🔥]
[Wheeling Staff]: Level this to 6 and use it to push, nothing else.
[Shock Wave]: Another pushing skill and nothing else.
Elementalist
[Fireball]: High burst damage skill with small AoE that fires out small fireballs on impact with any surface or enemy. The intiatal hit of fireball generates 2 Fever stacks while each of the small fireballs grant 1 each for a total of 10.
[Fireball Instant] Use [Phoenix Strike] to make a fully charged [Fireball] that does not share a cooldown with the base skill. [Applies Burn Effect 🔥]
[Phoenix Strike]: This is your elemental debuff and enables the Instant version of [Fireball] for 2.2 seconds. This should always be used in tandem with [Fireball Instant] as they have the same cooldown time. [Applies Burn Effect 🔥]
[Inferno]: Outputs a large AoE cone for 3 seconds that deals constant damage and generates 1 Fever per hit (25 possible hits). This can be canceled early by left clicking, dealing 80% of the skill's casting damage. [Applies Burn Effect 🔥]
[Fire Wall]: Filler skill that creates a small AoE around you dealing damage almost instantly, this can be followed up with a right click for another small AoE or left click for a short fire trail in front of you. Left click is quicker and deals slightly more damage while having less area covered. [Applies Burn Effect 🔥]
[Hotrod]: Utility and Fever generation skill that increases movement speed and reduces damage taken by 30% during cast. Each hit generates 1 Fever up to 28 total. Always cast [Fireburst (CM3)] before using [Hotrod] to enable the Blood Moon Jade version of [Hotrod] and to increase damage dealt. [Hotrod (CM3)] will also drag moveable objects and trash mobs around during the animation. [Applies Burn Effect 🔥]
[Ignite]: High damage Fever generation skill that deals damage to all burned targets. Ensure that your target is burned or cast any skill that has the [Burn 🔥] mark on it before using [Ignite]. Generates 5 Fever on hit once per cast.
[Elemental Shield]: Grants a 15% damage reduction and increase of 50% to your Super Armor for 20 seconds. Use this before casting your [Hotrod (CM3)] to help avoid being interrupted. This can also be used with [Volcanic Vortex] to help you tank damage you can’t avoid.
[Volcanic Vortex]: An iframe that gives you 70% damage reduction during the cast. The animation can be canceled by dodging. Do not use this skill for damage – due to its long casting time you will lose DPS. [Applies Burn Effect 🔥]
Pyromancer
[Burning Hand]: Passive skill that increases damage dealt with fire skills by 15%.
[Magma Ball]: AoE Fever generation skill that generates 1 Fever stack per hit up to 25 total.
Holding [Magma ball] will deal constant damage up to 13 hits before being sent forward dealing an additional 11 hits then exploding, this can be canceled at any time by a right click which explodes deals damage right in front of you or a left click which sends [Magma Ball] forward dealing damage then exploding. Enemy size does play a part when [Magma Ball] is sent forward as it can exceed its range on small bosses. [Applies Burn Effect 🔥]
[Flash Fire]: AoE high damage skill with a set range that deals constant AoE damage before erupting. Prioritize [Flash Fire] off cooldown as it is a cast and forget skill. [Applies Burn Effect 🔥]
[Summon Meteor]: Creates a massive AoE of damage based on the number of Fever stacks you have prior to cast. Each level will only use the required amount of Fever.
- Level 0 requires 0 Fever stacks and does not share a cooldown with any charge levels.
- Level 1 requires 50 Fever stacks and adds 1 additional Meteor.
- Level 2 requires 75 Fever stacks and adds 2 additional Meteors.
- Level 3 requires 90 Fever stacks and creates a massive meteor that hits 10 times.
Using any level below 3 should only be done if you can regain the lost Fever stacks during a downtime.
[Fire Mastery]: Passive that increases your fire element by 15%. Ensure that this passive is up before casting [Summon Meteor] by dealing damage to an enemy with any fire skill that has [Applies Burn Effect 🔥] in its description.
Skill Priority
This is the order of skills you should focus on using off cooldown.
Level 3 [Summon Meteor]: Should be used whenever possible assuming the boss is vulnerable/able to be attacked.
[Inferno]: High damage use for the full duration if possible and generates Fever stacks
[Flash Fire]: High damage
[Fireball/ Fireball Instant]: High damage and generates Fever stacks each
[Magma Ball]: High damage and hold for as long as needed
[Ignite]: High damage
[Hot Rod]: Good damage and generates Fever stacks
[Fire Wall]: Good damage with fast cast time.

Example Rotation
Fireball --> Phoenix Strike > Fireball Instant --> Flash Fire --> Summon Meteor --> Inferno --> Magma Ball --> Ignite --> Hot Rod --> Flash Fire --> Summon Meteor --> Inferno --> Fireball --> Phoenix Strike --> Fireball Instant. After this it shifts to rotating skills off cooldown and focusing on building up to 90 Fever stacks.
