This is a small patch but the first of the Modernization series, which hopefully should make your nesting life less bothersome.
This patch concerns mostly nest scripting changes, primarily cutscenes and DPS meters and does not contain any changes to the iframability, blockability, or debuff removal from mechanics - those are coming soon!
Also, we're slowly coming out of our self-imposed break, and with that comes several team changes. Details will be announced at a later time once the dust has settled.
[PvE] Nest Logic Changes
Black Dragon Abyss, HC, and Memoria
- (Memoria) Added DPS meters (Abyss and HC already have them)
Stage 1 (Bridge)
- Cutscene orb can be used even if a player has never cleared before
- Skipping cutscenes removes the Black Dragon jumpscare cutscene
Stage 2 (Belin)
- You now spawn next to the cutscene orb
- All Belin mechanics fully removed
Stage 6 (Dragon)
- Cutscene at end of Phase 1 removed
- Cutscene after killing dragon removed
- (Memoria only) Phase 3 now only needs to be done once
Daidalos Nest (and HC)
- Cutscene orb can be used even if a player has never cleared before
Manticore Nest
- Cutscene orb can be used even if a player has never cleared before
Volcano Nest
- Cutscene orb can be used even if a player has never cleared before
Cerberus Nest
- Cutscene orb can be used even if a player has never cleared before
Red Dragon Nest Memoria
- Cutscene orb can be used even if a player has never cleared before
- Added DPS meters
Vein of Sorrow
- (Bugfix) You can now use the F12 menu after clearing
- Weekly clear count now appears in your Attempts menu
Growth Spirits
A few days ago we had to clear growth spirit stats and disable spirit growing due to an issue with how the game handles growth spirits (especially when server storaged) causing some spirits to apply insane stats (which actually took effect).
We're currently still working out details on what to do with the spirit system, but in the meantime, we'll be giving all growth spirits moderately high stat rolls baked into the base spirit. We know some of y'all spent a lot of resources on getting the perfect spirit rolls - we still have your old spirit data and will be figuring out how to reimburse high rolls when the new system is developed.
